CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — There Charlotte County Sheriffs Office is warning the public of another scam.
There are reports of a scam call indicating that they were collecting money for law enforcement fallen officer fund.
This call is a scam.
Charlotte County Sheriffs say to never provide credit card or other personal information to someone who calls you on the phone.
Remember that no reputable business or a government agency will ever ask for a payment in pre-paid cards or gift cards.
