LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies were working to pull a submerged car out of the water overnight.
Deputies found the white Hyundai coupe inside a drainage ditch just before 3:30 a.m. Friday morning along a remote part of Corkscrew Road.
No one appeared to be inside the vehicle.
Deputies believe the driver was not paying attention and ran into the water.
No alcohol is suspected and deputies believe the driver was alone and the accident only involved one car.
