CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Students at Cape Coral High will return to a familiar sight in the fall the fence along the front of the school is going back up.

The fence was removed in February of 2018, and at the time, Lee County School District officials told Fox 4 they had no plans of replacing it.

Now over a year later, the fencing is going back up as part of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act which requires

schools to have a single point of entry and increased security.
