CAPE CORAL, Fla.- The City of Cape Coral's official historian has passed away.
Paul W. Sanborn came to the Cape in 1964. Has designated with the official role of historian due to his knowledge of the city.
While living in Southwest Florida, Paul was very active in the community. He was part of the Cape Coral Yacht Club, the hospital board, the Lee County Mosquito Control Board of Commissioners and other organizations.
Paul's funeral will be held on Friday. He was 93.
