CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The Cape Coral Police Department investigated a suspicious package in the area of the 800 block of SE 47th Terrace last night.

Just after 5 p.m. on Feb. 27, police closed off the area for several hours when a suspicious package was discovered at the LeeTran bus station.
Cape Coral Police worked with the Lee County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad to ensure community safety and to track down the person who left the item.
The item was determined to be harmless and no charges are expected.
