Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium plans holiday activities around Christmas star

FORT MYERS, Fla — Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium is planning activities for family fun around the Christmas Star.

The Christmas Star is also known as the Great Conjunction, peaks on December 21st.

You will be able to see it in the sky over the next couple of nights.

The Holiday Light Walk being brightening up the night from December 18th through the 20th.

It will be open from 6 pm until 9 pm.

A nature trail will be illuminated, and families can also enjoy a warm campfire.

The cost is $5 per person and is free from members.

And if you want to take a picture to remind you of your bright night, there is an option for professional photos for $20.

There's also a laser show from December 17th through 20th.

The shows are at 6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm, and 9 pm and cost $10 per person.

Laser shows specifically for kids Monday through Saturday at 3:30 pm.

You can also enjoy a Holiday Double Feature movie that they are showing on Dec. 23rd.
