CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — A 66-year-old was transported to a local hospital after a crash on Tuesday evening.
An FHP report says the man was riding a bicycle traveling north approaching Elkcam Boulevard.
An unknown vehicle was also traveling north approaching Elkcam Boulevard.
The vehicle then collided with the rear of the pedestrian and fled the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to call FHP.
