Three unknown males are caught on camera breaking into a Lee County home early Saturday morning.

The homeowner says he received several email notifications from his security system indicating that there was movement inside his home on River Road.

When law enforcement arrived to his home, they found drawers and cabinets opened throughout the house where the crooks were scouring for valuables, authorities said.

Authorities also found that the screen tot he lanai at the home has been ripped open and the kitchen window had been compromised, allowing all three to gain access to the home.

During the time of the burglary, the home hadn't been stocked with any belongings because it was just purchased.

The trio left empty handed.

“Although these suspects didn’t find anything of value, they clearly entered the home armed and ready to steal whatever they could find, and potentially inflict violence had the situation escalated,” said Trish Routte, Crime Stoppers Coordinator.  “We are confident that someone will recognize these young men so that they can be incarcerated before breaking into anyone else’s home.”
