FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Residents in Fort Myers should not be alarmed to see increased air traffic and military vehicles this weekend. It's all part of national guard training exercises.
According to the Florida National Guard, elements of the 164th Air Defense Artillery Brigade will be conducting air defense training in the vicinity of Buckingham Airfield Friday and through the weekend.
Residents can expect to see military vehicles transitioning to the area and an increased amount of non-military aircraft flying overhead.
