A walk and run 5K to benefit patients with head and neck cancer in SWFL took place at the Century Link Sports Complex at Hammond Stadium on Saturday.
This cancer is the 5th most common cancer in the world, Christa Santos with CKS Marketing Communications said.
100% of the funds raised will go towards free community screenings, education, and financial assistance for patients, as well as covering items often not covered by insurance.
