FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Power is back on to about 1,000 people after a hit and run crash early Monday morning.
Daniels Parkway was closed in both directions between 6 Mile Cypress Parkway and American Colony Boulevard from around 1:30am until about 11:30am after a car crashed into a power pole, knocking out power. All roads are now open.
Florida Power and Light was on scene until about 4am restoring power.
The search is still for the driver involved in the hit and run.
