The Florida Department of Law Enforcement released 60 emails detailing exchanges between Lee County deputies in the Diana Alvarez case.

The 9-year-old disappeared from her San Carlos Park home in the early morning hours of May 29th.

The emails show by that evening, detectives believed Alvarez was with Jorge Guerrero.

According to a time stamp FDLE did not issue an Amber Alert until June 2nd, 4 days after Diana disappeared.

Family members say investigators told them they couldn't issue an Amber Alert on the day of Diana disappeared.

Guerrero has never been charged with her disappearance, but he is in police custody on child porn charges in Okeechobee County.

No other suspects have been named, Diana is still missing.
