UPDATE 1:00 PM - NCH has reported that all 1,200 vaccine appointments have been filled. The high influx in traffic to the NCH website at one time caused many in the community to experience service delays or go completely offline.
If you were unable to get an appointment today, as soon as NCH receives more vaccines, they will be offering the community more opportunities.
NCH will continue to communicate our vaccine plans to the media and to our community as information becomes available.
NCH will begin vaccinating members of the community age 65 and older on Friday, Jan. 8, and appointments are required.
The registration link will go live on the COVID Vaccine Update page and on the NCH website www.NCHmd.org, on Thursday, Jan. 7, at noon.
A total of 1,200 appointments are available at the Baker and North Naples hospital campuses on the following days:

Monday, Jan. 11
Tuesday, Jan. 12
Wednesday, Jan. 13

As you may recall, NCH received 4,900 doses of the Moderna vaccine on December 23, 2020. Following the guidelines set forth by Federal and State authorities, NCH immediately started vaccinating healthcare employees with direct patient contact.
In the initial phase of vaccine administration, the state-mandated that 15% of the vaccine allocation received should be earmarked for pre-hospital workers, such as EMT’s and Paramedics, who are at high-risk for developing COVID-19. Vaccine administration for that group started on Dec. 31, 2020.
As of Jan. 6, NCH has administered a total of 2,147 vaccines to their staff and pre-hospital healthcare workers who met the state’s criteria for receiving the vaccine.
Administration of vaccines will continue for healthcare workers and pre-hospital healthcare workers, but following the guidelines created by the state, NCH announced today that vaccine administration will also be expanded to include members of our community age 65 years and older.
