CAPE CORAL, Fla. - The widow of a Cape Coral man killed in Jordan during an ISIS attack is suing Twitter, claiming it let the terrorist group promote its message.
Tamara Fields, wife to 46-year-old Lloyd Carl Fields Junior, accuses Twitter of knowingly allowing the terror group to distribute propaganda, raise money and attract recruits.
She is seeking damages, a ruling that the company is violating the federal Anti-Terrorism Act and a jury trial.
Fields was one of five people shot by a Jordanian officer at the Jordan International Police Training Center on November 9, 2015. ISIS has since claimed responsibility for the attack. Fields was there to help train police under a state department program.
