And Fort Myers Police are urging you to plan ahead if you plan to be out drinking this weekend. The police department is launching a DUI checkpoint, but the department is remaining tight-lipped about where these checkpoints will be.
The ultimate goal of both campaigns is to raise awareness about the dangers of drunk driving and keep you safe on city roads.
