FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The Fort Myers city council will discuss the toxic sludge in Dunbar during Monday night's meeting.

Land on South Street once served as a dumping site for a water treatment plant is now filled with high levels of arsenic, according to the Department of Environmental Protection. Arsenic, can be poisonous.

The city of Fort Myers was given until Friday to hand over test results to the State on just how much arsenic. The DEP slammed the city for keeping their Department and the community in the dark.
