Hi there! Thanks for clicking on my page to learn a little more about me.
I’m a Southwest Florida girl who was born right here in our viewing area. More specifically, in Port Charlotte. I’m honored to be an Anchor in my hometown, and proud to represent the people of Southwest Florida. Plus, I have a big problem with cold weather – so the Florida sunshine is a big bonus!
I’m a people-person, and I love getting to know everyone I meet and hearing their stories. In fact, that’s one of the main reasons I got into this career: I get to meet you and tell your stories. So if you ever have something you want me to look into, or something you want to share, please shoot me an email or contact me on social media.
I started my career at Fox 4 in July of 2014 as a reporter. Less than two years later, I became the Weekend Evening News Anchor, and in October of 2018, I was blessed with the job of Morning News Anchor at Fox 4. I wasn't always a morning person, but you bet I am now! In my time at Fox 4 so far, I've covered the Teresa Sievers murder, and even anchored from outside the Lee County Courthouse every morning during the trial. I covered the Club Blu mass shooting, the death of 5-year-old Andrew Faust, and Hurricane Irma in addition to multiple other hurricanes and tropical storms.
I’m a proud Florida Gator and graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications in Gainesville. I love cheering for the Orange and Blue, and never missed a home football game! During my time at UF, I first reported for Florida’s 89.1 WUFT-FM, the NPR affiliate at the University of Florida. I then traded my audio recorder for a camera, and started reporting and anchoring for WUFT-TV News. I graduated from the University of Florida Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications.
I’ve spent my entire life in Southwest Florida, with the exception of my four-year stint in Gainesville for college. I grew up watching Fox 4 News and I feel incredibly lucky to now be a member of the news team!
In my free time, you’ll find me spending time with my family and friends, soaking in the sunshine at our beautiful beaches, cheering on my favorite sports teams (Go Gators! And Go Rays!), and playing with my adorable nieces and nephews. I’d love to get to know you, so if you see me around town, please say Hi!
