The Naples Zoo wants you to get up close and personal with some wild animals as part of their new Wild Encounters exhibit.

The four encounters include African Penguins, Florida Panthers, Giant Anteaters and Honey Badgers.

The African Penguins encounter is offered 7 days a week at 1 p.m. On this tour, you can engage with penguins and learn how they're cared for. You can also feed them fish. You must be 12 years or older to participate and there can only be four people to a group.

The Florida Panther encounter is offered every Tuesday at 9 a.m. On this encounter, you can meet one of the zoo's most famous and beloved endangered animals, Uno. See him up close while watching as he participates in a training session by a member of the animal care team. You must be 5 years or older to participate and only six people to a group.

The Giant Anteater encounter is offered every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Come meet Dee Gee and feed him a special part of his diet, and learn that it's not just ants. You must be 5 years or older and only 6 people to a group.

And finally, the Honey Badger encounter is offered every Friday at 10 a.m. Make items for the animals to play with, and possibly destroy, as part of an exercise for their minds and bodies. There is no minimum age requirement and there can only be six people to a group.
