NAPLES, Fla.-- If you're a foodie, listen up! Now's the time to try out some fancy new restaurants for less than $35 a person.  Naples Restaurant Week will let you do just that, with over 40 different restaurant options.

And guess what? It's for a good cause!

We stopped by Café Alfredo, where owner Chef Alfredo was cooking up one of his favorite dishes: lightly battered snapper in a white wine-lemon cream sauce.

It’s a specialty plate he's excited to feature during Naples Restaurant Week . His elegant, classic restaurant has been open five years with his own wood-fired grill.  But he says his open kitchen is what sets him apart.  "My kitchen is open, so I cook in front of the people, and they see exactly what I'm doing. So there's nothing to hide."

Next stop was Seasons 52 at the Mercato, where the mood is contemporary, very modern, and very relaxed.

There you will find roasted tomato flatbread, seasoned filet mignon, four featured wines.  "We have all of our mini indulgence desserts, which we are very highly known for," says manager Joshua McClurg, showing off Season 52's restaurant week menu and introducing you to their three-course dinners for just $35 per person.

From the Mercato over to the beach, come have a seat inside Baleen Naples.  “You can't really beat being right here on the beach. Even just cooking in the kitchen and being able to look out and see this beautiful ocean," says chef de cuisine Brooke Kravetz.

"We have red and golden beets with a peppered goat cheese…pan-seared red grouper", and her personal favorite dish: the black and blue Delmonico.

And for the chocolate lovers, "a chocolate mousse dome, so you have a little chocolate cake under there a chocolate crumble on the bottom."

She says restaurant week gives folks the perfect opportunity to try something new, but it also offers something for the chefs.  "We love writing different menus."

All these restaurants, all this work, and all for a cause: to benefit the Humane Society Naples .

The event is 14 days long, and starts on June 1st.  For information on how you can participate, head to NaplesRestaurantWeek.com .
