Depew, N.Y. — Kaylin Corbran has cerebral palsy. However, that doesn't stop the 25-year-old Buffalo, New York native from pursuing her dream.

"I want to be the first woman with CP from Buffalo to do (body building)," she said.

It all started on a whim. When Corbran was 20 years old, she asked her physical therapist if she could try going to her local gym. Corbran's physical therapist told her to give it a shot.

Fast forward five years and now she's at Catalyst Fitness every week with her trainer Trey.

"Anybody that has any excuse ever just needs to stop," her trainer said. "Kaylin is the most positive inspiring, kind, wonderful person I've ever met."

To Corbran, body building means more than just lifting weights and getting big muscles.

"(It) helped me overcome my insecurities of my body physically because I always used to feel like the outcast in school," she said.

And her goals extend far beyond body building. Corbran said, "my goal is to hopefully walk by 30."
