Florida woman from Lutz claims $1 million from 100X The Cash scratch-off

The Florida Lottery announces that Nisha Chakkalaparambil, 37, of Lutz, claimed a $1 million prize in the FLORIDA 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

She purchased her winning ticket from Alwins Oil Incorporated, located at 19275 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville and chose to receive her winnings in annual installments of $40,000 a year for 25 years.

The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $30 game, FLORIDA 100X THE CASH, features eight top prizes of $15 million. This is the largest Scratch-Off top prize ever offered by the Florida Lottery. The game also offers 20 prizes of $1 million. Overall odds of winning are one-in-2.59.

Florida Lottery drawings are broadcast on Fox 4 in Southwest Florida.
