Hi There! Thanks so much for stopping to read my bio!
I’m so excited to be joining the amazing team at Fox 4! I’ve pretty much spent my entire life engrossed in storytelling.
I was born in Washington D.C. to two news-junkie parents. I guess you could say I was destined for this job. My interest in storytelling was sparked during my summers at my grandparent’s house in Cleveland listening to my grandad’s old records and reading his old magazines. When I wasn’t doing that I was in the dance studio five days a week until high school when I became a member of my All-County Dance Ensemble and an All-State dancer.
I got my bachelors from Spelman College where I majored in English and minored in Drama. I spent six months studying abroad in London where I started researching and writing about everything I could see, hear and taste. I told you I was a storyteller. After that I got my masters from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism where I concentrated on social justice and investigative reporting. Before I joined Fox 4, I was an intern at The Military Times.
In my spare time I like to explore, this means field trips to as many random corners of the world as possible. I also like trying out new recipes that I find online.
Thanks for stopping by. If you have any interesting stories you'd like to tell me, please reach out. I can't wait to hear from you.
