According to FloridaDisaster.org, about 26% of the state doesn't have power.

LCEC says that crews from NC, TX, GA, CT, AL, TN, OH and other states scattered to all parts of the LCEC service territory to conquer some of the most grueling jobs Wednesday. The plan is to work on repairs to the main feeder lines that will get power to lines serving homes and businesses.

Some customers may not have seen trucks on their street but that is because repairs must be completed downline before the power can get to businesses and neighborhoods. In many areas, they will begin to see trucks, and more power restorations Thursday.

Crews will concentrate on areas where the they can get the largest number of customers connected at one time, then they will go to the more demanding jobs.

They will not stop or slow down in any area until all customers’ power has been restored.

Work on the Everglades City infrastructure will continue so that progress can be made in that areas as soon as possible also.
