A brush fire near homes in Naples was put out by firefighters Monday afternoon.
The fire was on 3rd Avenue Southwest. That's just off Collier Boulevard. Parts of Collier Boulevard were closed for a short time around 4 p.m. Monday.
Smoke was visible in many parts of the North Naples area, according to North Collier Fire Rescue.
There was concern because it was so close to homes, but none were damaged.
