Landecker stars alongside Jeffrey Tambor in the half hour Amazon series that explores family, identity, sex and love. The show centers around Maura (Tambor) who spent her life as Mort, the Pfefferman family patriarch. After Maura reintroduces herself to her family, everyone’s secrets finally start to come out. This season, after a jarring reality check, Maura, having found romantic partnership with Vicki and acceptance from her family, seeks to become the woman she envisions through gender confirmation surgery.
Amy Landecker has captivated a wide array of audiences with a variety of impressive comedic and dramatic roles in both television and film. Landecker was most recently seen on the critically acclaimed, multiple award-wining Amazon original series Transparent created by Jill Soloway. Next, Amy will be seen in Paramount Pictures’ Hunter’s Prayer – which is currently in post-production. Additionally, she will join the Marvel cast in the featurefilm Doctor Strange alongside Rachel McAdams and Benedict Cumberbatch. Landecker was recently seen in Lorene Scafaria’s The Meddler.
