Health Risks of Prescription Confusion 5/20/16

The majority of seniors take four or more prescription medications daily – not including over-the-counter medications and supplements they may also take. With different doses and schedules, keeping all their medications straight can be very confusing. In fact, research from Walker Reed Army Medical Center found only 61% of prescription medicine is taken correctly. This research includes younger adults with chronic conditions requiring multiple medications.
