A tip led to a marijuana grow house bust in Lehigh Acres, according to The Lee County Office Sheriff's office.

Deputies confiscated 126 Marijuana plants, along with 5 lbs of loose marijuana found throughout the home.

Baldemar Hernandez and Rita Cabrera were both arrested Wednesday in connection to the grow house.

Detectives say Cabrebra was apprehended as she was leaving the home. Hernandez was later found hiding out in the crawl space of the attic in the home's garage.

According to LCSO, Hernandez had a backpack filled with over $8,000, his passport and provisions so that he could "wait out" the deputies.

"I was absolutely shocked," said one neighbor.

The marijuana plants were found in two rooms in the home. Detectives say they seized over 87 pounds of pot from the home.

Hernandez is charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, renting a structure to traffic drugs and resisting without violence.
