Shooting spree across California county leaves 4 dead
TUSTIN, Calif. (AP) - A shooting rampage in Southern California has left four people dead, including the gunman.
aw enforcement officials say a 20-year-old student killed three people and left several others wounded in less than an hour over a 25-mile stretch of Orange County, before killing himself.
Police say the first victim was slain at a ranch where the shooter lived. Another was forced from his car at a red light, marched to a curb and killed in front of at least half a dozen witnesses.
Law enforcement authorities have identified the gunman as a 20-year-old unemployed part-time student, Ali Syed.
Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino says that victim is a young woman in her 20s who has not been identified and is not related to the shooter.
