Fort Myers police bust massage parlor
FORT MYERS, Fla. - An undercover investigation by Fort Myers police led to the arrest of one woman for offering a sex act at the Nature Poly Incorporated Massage Parlor at 1957 Grove Avenue.
A tip to police touched off the investigation. Thursday night an officer posing as a customer entering the business to order a $79 one-hour massage.
The woman took the officer to a room where she told him to remove all of his clothing and then offered to commit a sex act for a predetermined price.
Police arrested 46-year-old Xiaoyan Yang of Fort Myers for solicitation of prostitution.
Police with work with city code enforcement to close the business.
Just last week police arrested two people and closed the New Asian Massage parlor on Boyscout Drive.
Neighbors who work on Grove Avenue, like Chris Byrne, says he saw police cars surrounding the business on Thursday night, "There were at least four cops around the building," described Byrne.
And those who live three houses down like Gena Frontilus and Tatiana Benel, say they're surprised because it's a good part of town, "that's crazy, yeah. I walk by here all the time and you would never know. This is a pretty safe neighborhood."
Yang bonded out of the Lee County Jail on $5,000.
