Southwest Florida towers stay on FAA hit list
FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Federal Aviation Administration released its updated air traffic control tower hit list and it didn't offer any good news for Southwest Florida.
The towers at Page Field in Fort Myers, Naples Municipal Airport and Punta Gorda Airport are on the latest list.
The FAA is planning on closing the towers by April 7 to meet $637 million in cuts required under the budget sequester.
