India Fest comes to Fort Myers

WFTX - India Fest has grown and is heading Fort Myers High School this year.
The festival will be on Saturday, March 23 from 11am - 9pm.
At this outdoor event, IAFM will provide the local community with an opportunity to be exposed to all things Indian, including food, dance, music, handicrafts and clothing from various regions within India.
More specifically, IAFM will arrange for various forms of live entertainment on the outdoor stage throughout the day, including modern and classical dances, fashion shows and a variety of musical performances and plays.
Attendees will enjoy an unobstructed view of the performances, as covered seating will be provided.
Additionally, an assortment of authentic Indian cuisine from several regions of India will be available for purchase.
Handicrafts, jewelry, clothing and books highlighting the Indian culture will also be available for sale.
During the lunch break a local organization will present a brief yoga demonstration.
