WFTX - Global Kids Learning Adventures is an educational enrichment program focusing on world languages and culture for kids.
While research shows that language education results in higher academic achievement, language programs in Florida are limited to high school, for the most part, a time which misses the optimum age to begin a language - before age 12 or so.
They are launching their first program in partnership with the City of Naples this summer, World Explorer Camp, taking kids on a trip around the world in 3 themed weeks: Europe, Asia/Africa, and The Americas.
Kids explore the language, culture, art, sports, dance, and food of a different country each day and document their "travels" with a passport.
Global Kids was born out of a need to provide what the heavily legislated public school system no longer can in a creative, exciting way in order to help kids acquire new skills and strengthen their knowledge in other areas.
