Crash in Collier County sends 2 people to the hospital
Naples, Fla. - Two people had to be airlifted Thursday afternoon after an accident between a Dump Truck and Toyota Prius.
The accident happened on US 41 and Rattle Snake Hammock Road in Naples.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say 81-year-old Maria Diaz was driving her Prius and did not see a Dump Truck in her path when she turned into an Ace Hardware parking lot.
Diaz and the driver of the dump trunk 47-year-old Luis Diaz were both airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital where they remain in serious condition.
