Fire in Golden Gate destroys one home
NAPLES, Fla. - A fire destroys a home in Golden Gate on Wednesday. Crews responded to a fire off of Sunshine Blvd. in Golden Gate.
The fire started at a home at 4349 17th Place Southwest.
Crews got the call around 4:15pm. Multiple fire trucks responding including Golden Gate Fire, North Naples Fire and East Naples Fire.
No one was inside the home at the time except for a dog. Firefighters were able to get the puppy out safely. The Golden Gate Fire Marshal says at least 10 people lived inside the home. The Red Cross in on scene assisting the families.
The home is a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
