FORT MYERS, Fla. - A Lee County deputy used his taser on a man who tried to rob the Foam and Fizz store at 4721 Palm Beach Boulevard on Saturday.
The deputy arrived at the business to find a store employee holding the front door shut shouting that the suspect was still inside.
The suspect, 49-year-old Scott Alan Drifka, came running out as the deputy approached. The deputy shouted "stop" and Drifka kept running and at that point the deputy used his taser to stop Drifka.
