PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - A Saturday outing turned into an adventure that wasn't expected for two people onboard an experimental, or homemade, aircraft near Punta Gorda.
The airport director tells FOX 4 the plane crashed and injured two on board. One of them was taken to the hospital with unknown injureis.
The FAA eventually cleared the airport and allowed flights to resume.
The plane is currently being kept in a hangar at the airport so the FAA can investigate.
