Sinkholes in the Cape?
Insurance adjuster, homeowner say yes
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - A Cape Coral based insurance adjuster says he is fighting for the homeowners at two different properties where sinkholes are starting to damage their homes.
Days after a Tampa man was killed when his bedroom was sucked into a sinkhole, a Cape Coral woman is now fearing for her own safety.
The woman says her house is being sucked into the ground and she wants to know why her insurance company won't do anything about it.
Four In Your Corner's Colleen Hogan is taking her concerns to officials.

Alta Raymond says her house has been slowly sinking into the ground around it for the past two years.
"I'm really scared," she said.
She says holes have been forming in her grass all around the house and a quarter-inch deep crack runs the length of her lanai. She says there's also several cracks around the inside of her house and in her tiles.
"My master bedroom had a lot of cracks and I was hearing noise, and I thought - what's going on?" she said, of her decision to sleep in another room in the house.
She's been trying to get her insurance provider, Universal Insurance Company of North America, to come back out and take another look after the company denied her sinkhole claim once before.
So we got on the phone with the insurance company to see what could be done to help Raymond sleep easy. A claims rep told Fox 4, they'd have someone from the sinkhole staff call Raymond.
She promises to let us know what happens.
