Deputies look for suspect in Family Dollar robbery in Fort Myers
FORT MYERS, Fla.- Lee County sheriff's detectives hope someone can shed light on an armed robbery that happened at a discount store on Palm Beach Boulevard.
Deputies were called to the Family Dollar Store located on Palm Beach Boulevard shortly after 7:00 p.m. on February 24.
The victim was working in the store when she was approached by a white male in his late teens to early twenties. The suspect brandished a weapon and demanded money from the cash registers. The victim complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries.
The suspect is approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall and was wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and a dark colored bandana.
