Fort Myers man charged in 3 bank robberies
FORT MYERS, Fla. - A Fort Myers man has been indicted in three bank robberies spanning a six week period this year.
U.S. Attorney Robert O'Neill says 41-year-old Jose Miguel Figueroa faces a maximum of 20 years in federal prison for each robbery.
The indictment says Figueroa used intimidation to take money from a Wells Fargo Bank on three different occasions. The first robbery happened January 17 and the last one on March 1.
Figueroa was captured last Friday following a bank robbery on Palm Beach Boulevard.
