Fort Myers toothless bandit arrested
FORT MYERS, Fla. - A tip led Fort Myers police to an arrest in the robbery last week of the Publix Supermarket at 4600 Summerlin Road.
Police arrested 43-year-old Kellie Harrigan without incident earlier today.
The hold up happened on February 27 when police say a woman wearing a trench coat and oversized sunglasses approached the customer service desk to purchase a candy bar.
At that point she handed the clerk a note demanding money. The note implied she had a weapon.
She then put her hand over her mouth and told the clerk, "I forgot to put my teeth in today."
