Arrest made in Naples hit and run

NAPLES, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol announced an arrest in a hit and run crash that seriously injured a Naples man last week.
A tip last night led the FHP to 35-year-old Danielle Grau. She was driving 1997 Chrysler convertible similar to the one described by witnesses.
The FHP believes Grau hit 47-year-old Howard Vanpelt as he rode his scooter in the early morning hours of February 28 near I-75 and Golden Gate Boulevard and fled the scene.
Grau is charged with driving on a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.
