Woman in Collier County dies from smoke inhalation
EAST NAPLES, Fla.- A woman has died of smoke inhalation early Monday morning. East Naples Fire crews said there was a slight haze inside her home when they arrived, but no sign of fire.
East Naples firefighters responded to a call around 3:00 am at the Naples Motor Coach Resort. A woman had stepped outside to call 911, and collapsed. Crews arrived and began CPR. It appears she died of cardiac arrest.
The state fire marshal is now investigating.
