FORT MYERS, Fla. - The sound of a running air conditioner during this recent cool weather gave away a marijuana grow house in Fort Myers.  It led to the arrest of four men Friday.

An anonymous tipster alerted narcotics detectives to the operation at 317 Buena Vista Boulevard.  A detective then saw potting soil in the back of a vehicle in the driveway of the house and decided to investigate.

The detective knocked on the door and could hear the television on but no one answer.  He could also smell marijuana coming from the residence.

The detective asked a neighbor if he could walk onto their property to look at the back of the house and from that position he could see water hoses and pipes and three air conditioners all operating.

A man then exited the rear of the house and attempted to flee but he was immediately arrested.  That's when a search warrant was obtained and three more men were found hiding inside the house.

Also inside the residence where 43 marijuana plants, materials used to harvest pot including grow lights.

Under one of the beds as a 20 gauge shotgun.  Other weapon accessories were found in the home as well.

Charged with marijuana trafficking were 23-year-old Luis Armenteros of Hialeah, Florida, 22-year-old Jorge Orelly of Miami, 32-year-old Yorsh Mesa-Macias of Naples and 40-year-old Raul Feliciano of Miami.
