FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Lee County Sheriff's Office announced tonight the arrest of two suspects sought in two different bank robberies Friday.

The first hold up happened in Fort Myers Shores when investigators say 40-year-old Jose Figueroa held up the Wells Fargo Bank at 11801 Palm Beach Boulevard.

Deputies acted quickly at around 2:30 p.m. to set up a perimeter and managed to spot the suspect as he fled from his vehicle.  With the help of a K-9 Figueroa was captured.

Then at about 5 p.m. a suspected serial bank robber hit for a third time this week holding up the Fifth Third Bank at 15221 S. Tamiami Trail in South Fort Myers.

Witnesses say a man implied he had a weapon and demanded money.  Robbery detectives quickly realized they were looking for 36-year-old Daniel Ball, a man sought in two other bank robberies this week in Fort Myers.

Ball was tracked down hiding out at a residence in Lehigh Acres.

Both Ball and Figueroa are considered suspects in other bank robberies around Lee County.
