Fort Myers drug investigation results in 17 arrests
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police rounded up 17 people during a sweep of drug dealers this week.
The arrests brought an end to a six month investigation where undercover detectives bought illegal narcotics from 28 drug dealers resulting in 65 felony charges.
The majority of sales happened within 1000 feet of schools, day-cares and housing projects.
The list of arrested suspects is as follows.
1. Jean Reginald Bernard (d.o.b. 06/30/86 of Lehigh Acres) was arrested for two counts of sale of cocaine and two counts of possession of cocaine.
2. Sharese Richardson Bergeron (09/17/87 of North Fort Myers) was arrested for sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a school and possession of cocaine.
3. Damond Crews (d.o.b. 10/26/82 currently incarcerated in Desoto County) will be served for sale of cocaine and possession of cocaine.
4. Dontavious Hernandez (d.o.b. 08/08/88 of Fort Myers) was arrested for three counts of sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a school three counts of possession of cocaine.
5. Dontavious Hill (d.o.b. 08/10/86 of Fort Myers) was arrested for two counts sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a daycare, 2 counts of possession of cocaine
6. Bruce Martin (d.o.b 04/29/76 currently incarcerated in Orange County) will be served for sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a school and possession of cocaine.
7. Angelica Neris (d.o.b. 10/10/90 of Fort Myers) was arrested for three counts of sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a school and three counts of possession of cocaine.
8. Ricky Neris (d.o.b. 06/05/85 of Cape Coral) two counts of sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a housing project and two counts possession of cocaine.
9. Tyler Saddler (d.o.b. 08/29/89 of Fort Myers) was arrested for sale of morphine within 1000 feet of a housing project, two counts of sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a school, possession of morphine and possession of cocaine.
10. Amanda Lee Waylein (d.o.b. 02/25/91 of Estero) was arrested for three counts of sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a housing project and three counts possession of cocaine.
11. Winchel Traversiere (d.o.b. 03/27/83 of Fort Myers) was arrested for sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a school and possession of cocaine.
12. Michel Schenker (d.o.b. 10/22/87 of Fort Myers) was arrested for sale of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school and sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a school and possession of cocaine.
13. Jonicio Lopez (d.o.b. 11/08/88 of Fort Myers) was arrested for two counts of sale of cocaine and two counts of possession of cocaine.
14. Terrance Edwards (d.o.b. 12/08/86 of Fort Myers) two counts of sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a school, sale of cocaine and three counts of possession of cocaine.
15. Kendall Carter (d.o.b. 09/01/87 of Fort Myers) was arrested for sale of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school two counts of sale of cocaine within 1000 feet of a school and two counts of possession of cocaine.
16. Carlos Santiago (d.o.b. 11/01/72 of Lehigh Acres) was arrested for two counts of sale of heroin and two counts of possession of heroin and possession of marijuana under 20 grams.
17. Grisel Gonzalez (d.o.b. 04/07/86 of Fort Myers) was arrested for possession of marijuana under 20 grams.
