PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Charlotte County narcotics detectives took down a major marijuana growing operation Thursday afternoon.
Detectives raided a grow house in Port Charlotte and seized 289 hydroponic grown marijuana plants and made two arrests.
Charged with running the operation are 25-year-old Elier Enrique Torres and 33-year-old Yudelky Perez.
Investigators also seized two vehicles in the raid.
