North Port man arrested for stealing TV

MURDOCK, Fla. - Charlotte County deputies arrested a North Port man for stealing a 55-inch LED television from the WalMart in Murdock on Sunday.
42-year-old Robert Andrew Zobel is charged withr grand theft and resisting a merchant.
CCSO received a call Sunday morning when WalMart security spotted a man putting a large TV in a shopping cart bypassing all sale points.
Security stopped the man who left the TV and ran down Veterans Boulevard and into a wooded area.
About 20 minutes after the theft a deputy found Zobel in his pickup and WalMart security identified him as the man who tried to steal the $998 television.
