McCready funeral set for next Tuesday

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - The family of Mindy McCready confirmed to FOX 4 News that a public funeral will be held next week for the late country music star in East Fort Myers.
The public funeral will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday February 26 at the Crossroads Baptist Church located at 10721 Palm Beach Boulevard.
The public funeral is being arranged by Hodges-Farley Funeral Home which plans to make a formal announcement about the funeral on Sunday.
McCready, a Fort Myers native, committed suicide Sunday at her home in Heber Springs, Arkansas.
She became a country music star in 1996 with her hit album, "Ten Thousand Angels."
