Cape Coral man dies in Chiquita Boulevard crash
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - A 57-year-old Cape Coral man died in a Thursday afternoon crash at a 7-11 at 720 Chiquita Boulevard North.
Cape Coral police say William Joseph Yetter was backing out of a parking space at the convenience store when witnesses say it appears he suffered an unknown medical problem.
Yetter's Ford pickup continued backing and hit a metal support next to a gas pump and came to a stop.
Bystanders immediately began CPR as did Cape Coral police when they arrived.
Yetter later died at Gulf Coast Hospital.
