Information sought in case of dog shot with arrow
Fort Myers, Fla. - Lee County Domestic Animal Services is seeking information in the case of a dog found shot with an arrow.
The dog was found at the intersection of Stringfellow Rd. and Pine Island Rd. on February 20.
Animal Services received a call from a man who identified himself as Matt Frank.
Frank stated that he found the dog and pulled out the arrow. He then brought the dog,a blue pit bull, to a nearby location to meet an Animal Control Officer who transported the dog to an emergency clinic for treatment.
The dog Animal Services is now calling Boone appears to be in good health. He shows no signs of neglect and is a very friendly, well-behaved dog. However, he has no identification to indicate who his owner might be.
